Brewtherly Coffee

The reason I started drinking coffee was because I was a Graphic Design major. The stress of completing assignments could always be placated by a medium brew (iced with caramel and oatmilk) but I always remember wishing I could find a cafe in the city that stayed open late enough for me to both enjoy good coffee and work on my assignments.

Branding 〰️

Philly is a city known for no-nonsense hard workers and I wanted to show that through a reflection of its art scene. Using textures and photos from Philadelphia, Brewtherly’s branding focuses on a rougher aesthetic inspired by local artists. For the sake of authenticity, the packaging includes real graffiti from photos I’ve taken of street signs and slightly imperfect and rougher type. It’s identity features gritty and cinematic blacks and whites with an eye catching yellow for attention-grabbing contrast. For the logo, I wanted to emphasize the idea of “Brotherly Love” by having two characters enjoying drinks together side by side as a reflection of harmony. Whether you're pulling an all-nighter for a project or looking to connect with fellow artists within the city, Brewtherly is meant to be your hub to get stuff done.
